Support Manager Roles

The ebs: central Support Management group contains the roles for use in the Support Manager module.

Support Manager roles

The roles in the ebs: central Support Management group are described in the following table.

Role Allows users to...
ebs4 Support Manager User

Access the Support Fund Manager button on the Start ribbon and the Support Plan Manager tab in the Learner module for the current learner.

Full Assessments View, add, and update assessments in Support Plan Manager.
Full Delivered Support View and add delivered support records for a learner in Support Plan Manager, and create a delivered support record from a planned record.
Full Fund View and add funds, learners, and group costs in Fund Manager, update ILR records, and export records to files in Fund Manager.
Full Planned Support View and add planned support records for a learner in Support Plan Manager.
Support Manager Super User This role is not currently used.
View Assessments View, but not edit, assessments in Support Plan Manager.
View Delivered Support View, but not edit, Delivered Support records in Support Plan Manager.
View Fund View the Funds and Learners pages of Fund Manager. The buttons in the Support Manager ribbon are disabled.
View Planned Support View, but not edit, Planned Support records in Support Plan Manager.
Applicable to institutions in England onlyUpdate ILR Update ILR records for learners. This can be done from the Learners page of Fund Manager.
Applicable to users in Wales onlyUpdate LLWR This role is not currently used.
